As long as it has the Visa/Mastercard symbol on the card, there shouldn't be a problem.
At the retail store that I used to work at, they wouldn't allow you use credit to pay off credit. With Visa cards, you have to run them through as credit so you may run into problems with that. But, each store has different policies. I would just call the local store customer service line and ask.
I would just call the Sears credit card people and ask them about it. I've never known a lot of credit card places to take credit cards to pay them off.
@mishelleez: What I would do, if I were you, is use the giftcards you got either for groceries, gas, or even power or cable and then use the cash you would have used on that stuff to pay the sears.
I agree with kate but a little side note- if you do use them for gas make sure you go inside to pay. If you use a prepaid card to pay at the pump it'll end up putting a hold on the entire balance for 7-10 days sometimes more.
Ill have to call and check. how FH and I do the bills because the house is mine i pay all the bills and he buys all the food and stuff and I get gas less then once a month :/ thats why it really sucks they are $50 if they were $100 or a $200 I could use them them on bills but I never have a bill that is under $50

Anyone know if you can do this. I had $200 in rebates coming from swaping my cable and it was supposed to come on a prepaid visa and instead it came in 4 $50 cards! WTF am i going to do with that!
Anyone know if you can go into sears and maybe payments with a credit/debit card I know you can at Macys but I couldnt find anything on Sear's wedsite.
