I am looking for a make-up artist to come to me (if at all possible) on my wedding day. If that isn't possible does any one have any tips on make up application or where to go (MAC counter, etc)? Daily I wear sunscreen, eyeliner and chapstick. Maybe some foundation. OWuld love to hear your suggestions!
Jennifer - have you checked out Blue Mercury at La Encantada? The girls there are really nice and helpful - I had a trial with a girl named Tangie, who was awesome. I ended up doing my own makeup, but she would have been my choice had I used someone.
There was no charge for the trial (though I tipped her), and she wrote down everything she used on me, so I could come back and get it, if I so chose. No pressure.
She was really patient and helped me play with a few different looks.
