Hey,
I do have a hair and makeup place I like--but I don't know if they can help you with your head covering. Can you mom help you with that part?
I like Surrender Salon in Bixby Knolls.
Mine isn't culturally specific, but she has a wide variety of expertise -- YBeauty Studio in West Hills. I just did my trial Monday night and loved it!

Hi there!
I was wondering if anyone had a good make up and hair artist suggestion. I am getting married in November during the thanksgiving weekend... and I need a good make up and hair artist. I am Indian and want to look like old world "bollywood" glamour. However, I went to a few of the salons in Artesia, and saw dark dark makeup and its so not me!!!!!! I was trying to stay cultural specific as I am going to need someone to help me arrange my dupatta ( head covering) b/c I have no clue!
Any suggestions?
