I know she's not a natural redhead but I love Christina Hendricks.

I'm a redhead too!
I don't wear makeup everyday but when I do, I wear foundation, the almay for green eyes set and mascara. I had my makeup done for the wedding and found that eyeliner, blush and lipstick made a huge difference. I still felt like myself, but a more glam version!
The eyeliner was charcoal and the lipstick was pinkish.
Oh and I almost forgot, she used an eyebrow pencil on me and it really made a difference. My face looked more defined or something!
some gorgeous redheads to look into to (off the top of my head):
Kate Walsh, Amy Adams, Isla Fischer, Scarlet Johansen, Allison Hannigan, Jullian Moore, Debra Messing,
Thanks everyone! I love that photo of Christina Hendricks. I think my hair is a little darker, and I have brown eyes instead of blue, but I am definitely about that pale, so I think that kind of coloring should work.
@missgnome - isn't she just gorgeous? Glad it helped. :) I have brown eyes also, and my hair color changes (it's naturally light red/brown) but I can use her for inspiration for the same reason - I'm crazy pale!
I'm a redhead! I have auburn hair and really pale skin. I'm attaching a picture from my engagement shoot here. If we have similar coloring, I can let you know what I used. (although I could have used more eye make up and blush here)
I think we're sort of similar, but my hair tends to be more on the dark red end of the auburn hair spectrum. This is a pic from my engagement shoot for comparison with yours:

I have strawberry blonde hair and I went with a romantic look in this shoot (photo by April Kuhlmann of Lovestruck Wedding photography)
I used a very light foundation, light powder, dusty rose blush, nude lip, cream (lid) and chocolate brown eye shadow (crease) and a black mascara.

This one is a little more daring with light foundation and light powder, black eyeliner and mascara. (picture by Rob De Waele)
Do a search for red hair on Flickr.com or Pinterest.com and see what makeup the models are wearing.
I am not a natural redhead (but I do really look the part) and this is how I looked on my wedding day. My makeup and hair was done professionally in Las Vegas by Stevee Danielle.

I'm a redhead (really dark red, probably more auburn) looking for inspiration photos for make up. Day to day I wear foundation, powder and use Almay's eye shadow combo for brown eyes. I want something a little more special than that for the wedding, but still want to look natural/ like myself. I have no idea what to do. I know nothing about lip color (yeah, I wear chapstick, the end), never wear mascara (don't even own any), and don't really know what to do that would go well with my coloring.
I have been watching Mrs. Cowboy Boot's recaps and love her make up, but I don't know if it will work for me because a) my hair is darker than hers b) I'm almost certain my skin is paler than hers and c) I'm going for a vintage feel with my wedding and it may not fit the bill. Other than photos of Lucille Ball, I am having trouble find modern but vintage inspired make up on redheads. Is anyone else a redhead or does anyone else have any photos of make up for redheads?
Thanks
