I had my makeup professionally applied for our engagement pictures -- but it wasn't my trial. I think you've got the right idea, if your wedding makeup is going to differ from how you want it to appear in the your engagement pictures...schedule them separately is my advice!

Beauty question for all you beautiful ladies who are way more adept at fashionable things then I am. We have our engagement session all set up and I'm so excited! I was thinking that it might be a good day for me to do my makeup trial with a potential makeup artist ... but I'm not sure if it's the best idea. Reason being that I am having a indoor winter, evening wedding but my engagement shoot is in May outside! Obviously I will want to different types of make up when it comes to the engagement shoot and the wedding. This may be a silly question -- but can/should a makeup artist to my "evening" look ... and then kind of start over and do my day time look after? ... I know people typically like to see how the make up will hold up for the night ... so maybe I should just skip it that day. Ha I may have just answered my own question, but what do you guys think?
