The best makeup artist I have ever seen, hands down, is Mayra Rams-Sanabria of My Fabulous Faces. I'm not sure of her rates but she always gives so many great tips while she's working, she's a wealth of good info (and her makeup seriously LASTS!)
I'm getting my hair & make up done with Toni & Guy in Northpark Mall. My hair & makeup will cost $125ish (depending on how complicated my hair is) and the trials will cost the same.
I know that Emily Hudspeth has a contest running for a free hair & makeup trial. I haven't personally used her but have heard really great things from a friend that just used her for her maternity portraits.

Hi Ladies!
I wanted to see if anyone had an idea of a great place to go for a trial makeup / tutorial in or around Dallas Texas?
I did a trail at Sephora however the only makeup artist there was with NARS. I loved my look and its great for daily wear but I just feel like I need something more for my wedding day.
Any advice would be great! I really want a simple but classic romantic look which doesn't make me look like an oil ball by the end of the day--I get super shiney.
I just want that polished look....any ideas??? I am starting to think of looking up make up artists in the area but at $200 a trial....its a little much all advice would be helpful!
