I had heard about meatza awhile back and never tried it til this weekend.
It was an absolute hit and RIDICULOUSLY easy to make. I don’t know what took me so long!
If you or your SO are fans of pizza and fans of meat – you will LOVE meatza!
All I heard out of Darling Husband was: mmmmmmMMMMMmmmmMMMMMmmmm.
The variation I made to the meat base was to use 1 lb of ground beef and 1 large hot italian chicken sausage (it was 1/2 pound of sausage). I’d use hot pork sausage in my next round and make it a 1:1 ratio. I used fennel instead of caraway seeds and topped it with sauteed mushrooms, sauce, mozzerlla and misc salami. SO GOOD… and SO easy! I’m used to pizza taking forever to cook – but the whole thing is about 15 minutes of cooking. I had dinner on the table in about 20 minutes!
