hi ablossoms- i'm also getting married in may in the sf area (but i'm in ny) and had a really hard time finding the right makeup artist who could do asian faces but also not make me look fobby or like an import car model. after many trials, i picked aimeelam.com. she's very accommodating, good at listening to what you're looking for, and very talented. if you go to her for a trial, she'll also give you high quality photos of your before and after so you have a record of the look. i HIGHLY recommend her! what weekend are you getting married?
if you can splurge though, i heard taylor pham of facesbytaylor.com is supposed to be very good too.

i second the recommendation on Aimee Lam. I ran out of time during my hair trial (had to rush to meet a florist), and she offered to do another trial for free so that I could have a better idea of what the complete look would be.

I had a makeup trial set up in April for my May wedding. I've had this appointment set up for almost four months but this woman called my mom yesterday and canceled. Does anyone know anyone who is good with Asians, not too expensive, in San Francisco, and who might still be free for May?
