@marinewife4:  It looks good, but will it last all day/night?

@marinewife4:  MUA here. :). I would get a trial done by a pro, then decide what you love best! We know lots of tricks, and a great pro will have an arsenal of products that are made specifically for photography. You do a great job, but the only way you’ll know for sure is to have some one do it for you.

@marinewife4:  too bad you’re not in FL or OK. I’ve actually never had someone dislike how I did their makeup. The key is to listen to the client, I also have them bring in pics of how they usually do their own makeup. I do not try to duplicate it, but it gives me a better understanding of their taste. I also have them bring pics from magazines that they love, and examples of what they hate. When I’m almost finished, we step outside and check everything in natural light, as well as snap a few pics with and without flash.

@marinewife4:  well, another option would be to have a MUA do your eyes, then do your own foundation, or vice versa.

Love it! Though I think you need some gloss or colour on your lips & you’ll be set !

I think it looks great.  Make sure you use a primer, and consider a setting spray (a few bees have talked me into Urban Decay All Nighter).  I’m DIYing my own wedding day makeup too!
