I went to Bocci hair salon, if you google them they have a website. THey have wedding hair, airbrush makeup, regular makeup... everything! I loved their work, but i suggest going in for a trial!

I saw their work and it is really pretty.
You might want to try that salon if it is not too far from you.
Todd's Room, hands down. It's in B-ham, but if you don't mind a little drive pre wedding...worth it. I go to Jeannie, but they're all great.

I'm using Bridal Beauty on Location....they are based out of Plymouth, but they go to wherever you are to get you ready! It's $150 for the bride for both hair and makeup, but you can do either hair or makeup or add additional services like false eyelashes, hair extensions, massages, etc.
I did my hair and makeup trial a few weeks ago and LOVED what they did (let me know if you want to see pictures...I can e-mail them to you). Oh, and they do airbrushing for the makeup too....which is awesome because it stays on all day and you're not constantly in the bathroom touching up!

Not sure if you've booked this yet but when I lived in Ann Arbor, I frequented Salon Vox...they have an awesome modern salon if you need a good backdrop for pics and the stylists are all super talented! They also do makeup and did a makeover for me for fun once...it turned out really nice =). If AA wasn't so far from where I'm actually getting married, I'd totally hire them for my wedding day!
Mr. Taffy used to live across the street from Vox!
I am going to Fran Coy in Ann Arbor, after my regular hairdresser had to drop my wedding appointment. I am so happy that they were able to book me and 6 bridesmaids last minute, they have a ton of stylists and do lots of weddings. Haven't had my trial yet, but I'll blog when it happens. They also have a big room you can use for the bridal party that has a kitchen. :)
If Ann Arbor is close enough, I go to Salon XL. Brandy has been doing my hair there for almost 4 years and I love her. She's a board certified colorist and a really fun person. Hey gals,
I'm doing pretty well on my vendors, but I'm stuck on makeup and hair. I'm getting married in Plymouth in the afternoon. I could go to a makeup counter, but I really like the idea of professional hair and makeup. I wouldn't mind going to a salon, or having someone come to me, I just don't know where to start looking for someone ... well, good.
If you have any recommendations (and possible price estimates) I'd be really grateful!
