I've heard consultant for MAC cosmetics (usually have stands in department stores) will do your makeup at the counter. I've also heard that some of them freelance and will come to you.
I posted this in my local board - Westchester/ Rockland but it also applies to Hudson Valley brides as well ...
I highly recommend Rosemarie at N.Y. ProStyle - not only is she sweet, kind and relaxing but she is also rediculously talented. I was blown away by my make-up trial! In addition to make-up and hair she also provides other salon services and I have been going to her for facials to get my skin perfect. She is truly amazing! I am so looking forward to seeing her on my wedding day! She is competitively priced and her studio is located in Ardsley, but she is also available to come to your location on wedding day. www.nyprostyle.com
A friend of mine is also getting married at the Grandview (great choice) and she will also be using Rosemarie, so I know she does go to the Grandview. Good Luck!

I'm getting married on a Sunday at the Grandview in Poughkeepsie - can anyone recommend a makeup artist who comes to you at your home or hotel? Because of the Sunday factor, I don't have the luxury of using a salon that does hair and makeup. My hair stylist is coming to the hotel too.
