I'm also looking for makeup/hair recs in the Ridgefield/Danbury area. I know there are a few salons in Ridgefield, but I haven't heard anything about them beyond their websites.

Dawn's Pizazz & Adam Broderick are both solid & popular (all be it $$$) options for the Danbury/Ridgefield area. I am having a makeup artist come directly to my parents house in Danbury and currently am trying to get a stylist (who's from Ridgefield) come to the house as well. I'm getting hair and makeup done at Salon Wayne in Stamford. They were super friendly on the phone. Getting a trial done next week... will let you know how it goes. For day-of stuff at the salon, my total came out to around $200 if I include tip.

There were other salons in Stamford, but they ended up being the most responsive and enthusiastic.

A great makeup artist is Sherri Darling you can visit her a Mac store in Waterbury, she will come to you but for a consultation, she is there.

my cousin and her husband own Steven Mancini Salon in Wilton. I live in LA and they are still my favorites. They're both colorists but anyone there is amazing. The salon is super chic but the staff is hip and laid back. PM me for more info!

Makeup and Hair by Gina, she's on facebook, at yahoo etc...she is the best around here. I can get you more info if needed..she was featured on the knot, does models, every bride i've known in this area..and she's fun! travels too..
