I always think Mandy Moore looks pretty and natural on the red carpet . . .

Hey! Lashes are a must have if you can wear them. Of course play up your eyes! I usually add a kiss of your accent color on the eyes or the bridesmaids dresses. It will pull those colors anyway and make your eyes pop. Keep the skin soft but make sure you have coverage and extra blush/bronzer. You "lose" 50-60% of your "makeup" in photographs because of the lighting and process so I ALWAYS add extra so you dont look flat and lifeless. Gloss it up, its easy and most importantly use one not overly sticky so your hubby can kiss you with out super stick glitter lips. :)
heres what i did for my friends wedding (i was the moh):)

and for my wedding :)
Mine was very natural, but I felt like a movie star! Just... a little redder in the lips than usual, and some stunning brown eyeshadows.
Still no pics of my own, but Megan Wilinkson's blog has a few shots showing my make up.
i didnt have inspiration pics, but i went to MAC and had them help me decide what would look best. here is my makeup trial and me on my wedding day. i like the soft pinks for my lips and cheeks.

This was from my hair/makeup consultation! I have really dark brown eyes, but they're obviously closed in this shot :P
Sooo many lovely ideas already. Although I'm a dirty blonde, this is my eye makeup from my recent boudoir session. I think the makeup artist did a nice job making my eyes pop.

Here's me on my hair/MU trial day. I had false lashes on and very light foundation/shadows and a natural color on the lips. On my wedding day I went with a different style for the hair but similar make up :) (no pic's yet)
Hope this helps.
Here's a close-up of the eyes
@BruinBee: Oooh thanks! I like the eyes - I've never learned how to blend the shadows like that - hence the professional makeup haha. I may take your second pic with me (not in a creepy way). I found one inspiration photo I liked, but even her eye makeup was more dramatic than I wanted (too dark of shadow).
Thanks everyone! Keep sharing

Anyone come across some good inspiration for the brunette/brown-eyed bride? I plan on tanning a bit before the wedding, but I won't be super dark.
I don't want to come across fake-looking and have only ever had my makeup done professionally once before - I also had fake eyelashes once before and loved them. I'd love my eyes to pop in my pictures and on the wedding day, since that's FI's favorite feature of mine. But other than that I am always light on the foundation and little or no lip color.
