I LOVE Philosophy...I've gotten so many compliments on my complexion and makeup since I've used their products. Also, Smashbox is very good...I use them as well.

I love Urban Decay's eye shadows! They have a box set of golds, green, purple and black that is amazing. It's a little pricey- but will last forever.

I've also tried several mascara brands- but my fav is still Cover Girl in the pink tube Blackest Black/Waterproof. Good luck!

Holla ladies!
I was wondering if anyone had any great makeup brand suggestions for the day of the big event! I'm thinking of doing my own and looking for some thoughts on what you have tried and liked or what you've hated.
Right now I use Stila products, which I like a lot and would be fine sticking to as my game plan.
I'm also interested in Bobbi Brown, Perspectives and other brands like that - I've got access to Sephora and some major department stores. I know MAC has a great reputation, but the girls at the counter scare me and IMHO it looks thick and cakey.
Gimme some of your best experiences with beauty products!
