Yes there is a secret! It’s called a good primer! Just pick some up in whatever brand you like and apply some before you use your foundation, and some mixed into your foundation. You won’t have anymore problems with settling.

I use smashbox primer and philosophy’s “keep the peace” tinted mousse (makes my face SO soft!) that usually works!

What kind of make up are you using?

eyeshadow primer!!!!!! It just makes things last a little longer than normal primers. Urban Decay makes one. I’ll put it on where I’ll get those smile lines if I’m going out for what I expect to be a fun evening 🙂 not all over the face.

Here is a great post by Mrs. Rainbow who is a makeup artist. She suggests Monistat as a primer. I know, kind of gross, but she said the ingredients are exactly the same as the more expensive primers. I use it and think it works great!

Yeah I use a mac primer, but I don’t have many wrinkles.. just some creasing under my eyes [eye bags].

@legenwaitforitdary:  in my experience it has worked on my smile lines the times that I’ve done it. I just thought that as it’s engineered to prevent creasing on the lid it should do the same on your face, worked so far. I’m combination to oily skin.

maybe change the kind of foundation you’re using.  Try visiting a sephora for some samples.  It may be the type (cream, liquid, powder, mousse…) that’s the problem.
