Question for everyone!! I had an airbrush makeup trial for my wedding earlier this week…(cost me $60!)
I have sensitive skin and the girls assured me this would be great makeup for my sensitive skin/face. She slathered a moisturizer all over my face and asked me again, “you said you had sensitive skin?” I replied yes, then she told her partner to note that they should get some cetaphil or something for me because my face was red from whatever moisturizer she used. After the makeup trial I went home with my made up face. My eyelids felt kind of itchy but I just figured it was because of all the eye makeup. I was wrong…by the end of the night (only wearing for a few hours) my eyelids are swollen and red and SORE! I washed my face and my whole face has a red rashy appearance to it. Now two days later my face has kind of calmed down but my eyelids are still pink and really sore.
Would it be wrong of me to contact them and let them know what happened? A small part of me wants a refund since they told me that their products were “perfect” for sensitive skin.
