It is a nice natural look with added glow factor. I like it :)
I think you look radiant - just how a bride should look on her wedding day.
Congratulations!
What I'm wearing:
Face
Eyes
That looks lovely! I agree with the lower blush line and the blending into the hairline. The eyes are perfect, though!
:) I do have a line at the hairline - it's my tan! For some reason I don't tan there, and I end up looking like I have a bit of a mask on! Oops!
I agree that it looks odd at the hairline, but you can fix that! Looks good!
You guys have any recommendations on how best to fix the tan line at my hair line? Should I try using self tanner to blend it?
@jaglynn17: Absolutely! I wear falsies regularly and do them myself, so that will be added while I do my practice runs.
I'll have to come back and post once I've tried to re-create this myself and give you all an update. So far I've been wearing the makeup for 4 hours and don't need a touch up yet!
Wow! Your eyes really look great. The first thing I noticed was your beautiful blue eyes. Love it.
Did she put the foundation all the way up into your hairline? I would think that should cover the uneven tan. I wouldn't use self-tanner, but I'd try out a light bronzer over the foundation.
Overall I think it looks great and will look fantastic with fake eyelashes! I would go easy on the blush and just keep it on the cheek bone and the apples, espcially if you blush naturally (which you will at your wedding).
@Jacqi: I don't recall whether or not she did the foundation all the way to my hairline. I did pick up the BM Faux Tan which would make it easier to blend, so I will have to give it a try when I work on this myself.
Thanks everyone for the great feedback! The makeup looked great 8 hours later, although the eyeshadow wasn't as vibrant. I figure that a midday touch up and bringing a little kit with me would do just fine.
I don't care for wearing lipstick, so I'm going to play around with what I want to do on my lips. They are naturally colored already, so maybe I will line them in nude and stick balm on them like usual with a pop of lipgloss on the bottom.
I love the eyes. Definitely keep those.
I feel like the blush is a little too close to the nose though and a little vivid - depending what look you're for. I'd tone it and foundatin/etc. down for a more natural look.
And I would definitely line the lips! Though not sure on the color. Nothing might look nice too - hard to tell without pictures.
You look great! A couple of suggestions:
What color is the eye liner? I would try a brown or bronze which I think might go a little better with your skin and hair color. You should see how it looks. I think the brown liner might be a little bit more natural looking. I do like the eyes though.
Try wearing just a lip pencil with chapstick or gloss over it. The lip color won't fade throughout the night, even while your eating. It works really well. The chapstick/clear gloss over it helps moisturize after the pencil.
Blend some foundation and bronzer together and put that at your hairline, then blend downward with just the foundation. I think that will solve the hair line issue.
Best of luck!
@BaltoMDBride: The liner is plum. I'll try using a brown too and take pics with both. I felt like the liner was pretty and dramatic - but I expected my fiance to hate it, since I rarely line my eyes and he goes for a more natural look (as do I). Turns out he said I looked really pretty and 'it's not too much makeup on you' - shock of the century!
Another thing I have factored here is that I'm getting married at night and having a more formal style wedding, so I decided to play up my eyes since it's not broad daylight. Do you think the smokey effect works in that case?
@Arachna: Thanks for the tips! The funny thing is I have no blush on the apples of my cheeks or near my nose, I'm just really warm in the photos. It's hot here in Washington! :)
Ulta, huh? They did a great job -it's beautiful -very fresh. I had a trial at Sephora, also fab, but I went with a M.A.C. artist. I can NEVER recreate their work! If you have trouble recreating, you should think about privately contracting the artist (usually the company-the makeup or Ulta won't let them do that, so you have to be a bit sneaky.)
I think this looks gorgeous! I love those colors on you. Very natural, but enhanced.
@eileen marie: The woman there was a huge exception. She was older and has been doing makeup privately for years - ULTA is her 'fun' job to get out of the house! So far I've been able to recreate most of it.
Thanks everyone for the input. I'll post a follow up, for sure!
@tintine1: I actually have had the worst skin of my life over the last year. I'm swearing by switching to daily use of a Clarisonic. My skin has NEVER looked this good!
I think it looks pretty. Very natural and glowy.
You really do have great skin! I'm going to have to try that now.

So I just stopped by ULTA to see if I could get a recommendation on colors and one of the ladies there did my whole bridal face look since they weren't busy. I plan to recreate my own look. What do you guys think of it?
This gives a view of the blush/contouring. I wouldn't personally go as high into my hairline but what about the color?
And last the eyes (this I really loved!) all the colors are a shade of purple, including the liner. Mascara is black.
