if you made the sticks flush with one another....so it made like a wooden box..that'd look nice!
If you got contanct paper to put under the twigs, that would look nice...I saw damask contact paper. I think it could work--give it a shot!

I am out of money, so I am going to attempt to make a card box this weekend. I would like to incorporate a "bird" kind of theme. I have make my own version of the Ann Wood birds and am thinking of using them on the box.
I feel like the bird cage idea is sort of "old news," so I was thinking of making a box and glueing twigs all around it and then putting my birds on top ...
Let's be frank: Does this sound hideously ugly?
If so, do you have any other suggestions?
