To be honest, I love it the way it is right now. It’s more unique this way.

I think removing the bling at the neckline might get expensive/complicated.

I love the beading up top. I think that is what will show up in a lot of photos too. Are you wanting to get rid of it so you can add some awesome necklace or something?

Also, I asked this in another thread (and apparently I’m a total stalker), but do you know what color/designer that bridesmaid dress is?

Have you already decided for certain that this is your dress?

Keep it the way it is. It’s not worth the expense. Honestly, we spend so much time on weddingbee looking at dresses that we become hyper aware of things like this. A year after your wedding, you won’t look back and think, “man, I wish I had taken the beading off the top of my dress and bought a blingier belt!” Your guests won’t know the difference, either.

Besides, you wouldn’t want to risk ruining the dress. It looks great now.

@NAvery:  That’s a good point! The problem I have with a lot of strapless dresses is that they look like bras in pictures of the bride sitting at a table. The bling helps for those pictures that are from the waist up.

Leave it! I love the beading on the top, it makes the dress!

Agreed! I think it’s gorgeous right now. I’m sure the changes you mention would look great too but I don’t know if it’s worth the hassle.

Are the beads optional or would you have to make a special request to have them removed? I wouldn’t trust anyone except the original designer to alter the beading on that neckline. The bodice is gorgeous on you!

Well it is a bit simple, but it is your dress – to do with as you please.

I love the bling on the top, and I think I would omit the sash altogether.

I like it the way it is! I love the beading on the top. You could change the belt if you want to, but I wouldn’t change the top.
