I am currently putting picaboo albums together for my BMs for their BM gifts!
So I am interested as well!
Well our wedding Picaboo book arrived. In general, it is a nice keepsake. It is definitely unique and with the May special offer, reasonably priced. However the photo quality left a little to be desired - as many of the book's pictures were fuzzy. I delibrately made a small book to check the quality of the finished product and now I think I will skip making a larger, more extensive version.
I used AdoramaPix to make a guest book out of our e-pics. It came in this weekend and it looks AMAZING! Hard cover, layflat pages (similar to flush mount but priced like a photobook), great picture quality - I highly recommend them!
I used this review of about a dozen photobook companies before making mine. http://www.digitalhomethoughts.com/news/show/97676/the-great-photo-book-round-up-review-who-makes-the-best-photo-books.html It's really comprehensive and has options for a variety of pricepoints. Well worth the read!
But with AdoramaPix, can you only put one picture per page? I like the option of doing different layouts per page.. anyone know of good quality ones with that option?
You can put as many photos as you want on each page with AdoramaPix. I did different layouts on every page of my 26 page book. You just place the photos whereever you want and in whatever size you want (they have a really easy to use design program - this was my biggest worry when making my book but I thought it was really easy to use).
No problem - I'm going to try to take pictures of my album tonight and post them for the hive to see. I was really impressed with the final product; Even with what I had read in the review I posted above, the photobook surpassed my expectations!
I bought a boudoir album from Adorama Pix as well - I am really looking forward to seeing how it turns out!
Oh I wish I would have researched first! I have to agree with the reviewer of the aforementioned site - Picaboo's software was easy to use but the print qualty is indeed poor. Maybe I will try again with Adorama Pix.
I used Snapfish to make mine and it came out great! We made a large book using our engagement photos and are using it as our guest book. We figured if we had our guests write us a little note it would make a nice coffe table keepsake. I also made one for my sister in law for her shower and it came out amazing as well!
Here's a post I just made with pictures of my AdoramaPix photobook if anyone wants to see how it turned out!

Just got done using this site's program to create a custom hard-cover wedding photo book. Anyone else try this and how did yours turn out?
