When I was looking for something customized on Etsy, I just messaged a few sellers that sold something close to what I was looking for and asked them if they could do custom work. For you, I would probably search for bouquet charms.
@jo.lee: That could be a good idea.. however, the way I did it before was on like a community message board to all sellers.
It asked for a brief description of what you wanted, when you need it, the price you are willing to pay , etc. Than I got about 20 messages from sellers who were interested in making what I needed at the time. It was very competitve, so many were given me prices lower than the price i listed. I was wonderful, I found an amazing selling, the items turned out GREAT and I payed less than I had planned! But now I cannot find where to do that!
AHH..am I just blind and not seeing where to request an item, or did the website change??
Don't worry, you're not going blind - etsy doesn't have the alchemy feature anymore - they shut it down :(
So...what jo.lee said. It's worked great for me a few times since
Good luck.
@splatt11x: Sadly, you can't really do that anymore :(. I'm afraid just searching and messaging sellers will be your best option. If you find a frame you like and you can print it out yourself, though, I could format your photo for you (for free, lol). Feel free to PM me later if you don't find what you like on Etsy.
Since Alchemy is gone, just type in 'bouquet photo charm' into the etsy search and you'll be able to find many sellers who create different sized charms that you can choose from. They all seem to incorporate your own personal photos and sayings, so you'll be able to browse the search results and find a seller that appeals to you most. Good luck!
They carry the little frames for the pictures at Michaels. You can take the picture to a camera/film place and have it cleaned up and shrunk/copied for not much and put it in the frame yourself then all you have to do is place a ribbon through the hole or make a metal wire holder by just twisting 26 gage wire.
@tksjewelry: Great idea!! I will also look into that! Thank you
@NDBee: So that would be considered a bouquet photo charm? I didn't know the exact name of what I wanted or if this was even common or not to have! Thank you for the information..I will do that and see what I find!! Thank you1
@jo.lee: I will def take you up on that offer if I don't find anything I like on etsy! THANK YOU SO MUCH
@Golden Ticket: I thought i was losing it there for a minute, lol! that is a shame that they got rid of alchemy request! They don't even have something similar? Like in the boards/chat area?
@splatt11x: I think most often that will bring up the item you're describing. Usually those can be attached to/hang from your bouquet handle like a pin or with a ribbon, but I'm sure you could use floral wire to actually wire it up if you wanted it standing up in your bouquet.
@NDBee:my florist has an a really good way to put it in the bouquet... i believe she is used a wire or a ribbon with a wire in it and will have it in the flowers. It is going to be for me, I dont want others to really see it... as long as I know its there is what matters most. It something really personal to me, plus, I have 3 grandparents that have passed away and my grandmother on my moms side i was the closest to, by FAR, so I do not want my father to get offended. I will take a look on etsy for it tomorrow! My friend that got it done on a website, do you have any idea of where/what site that just makes these bouquet charms??
thank you everyone for your advice!!! very helpful!!!!
@splatt11x: I'm not aware of a site that makes only these charms particularly, and etsy has a huge variety so that you can find a shape/style/metal that you like best. They'd get my vote. Here is the first batch that came up in a search for me.

Hello ladies,
I have in the past used the alchemy request on etsy, but I guess the website has changed and I cannot for the life of me figure out where I go to make request. Can someone please let me know what to do, please?
Or perhaps someone on here could make this item for me (price/more details to be discussed.. here in a description of what I need...
I want a pic of my grandmother that passed away, in my bouquet. I have the pic. I can scan.. needs very little editing.. just tiny marks on it where I have used a tack and put it on my bulletin board. The florist has done this before & told me to make sure its sturdy, it to be square and the size of it between 1in- 2in MAX. (she said the smaller the better). I want some sort of affect used to have a white glow boarder around it, in a tiny frame (width must be small/skinny to as it will add to size). Also, on the back..whether if its an openframe and u need to put form board behind the picture to fit in the frame, or if its a closed frame, I want either: "Here with you" or "With u in your every step", it depends which fits and looks best. The writing I would want either in a very nice calligraphy, however, I would prefer if it was done using a computer....and put on nicely so it doesn't look like it was just printed & glued on..
* My friend had something similar and got it done on a website, she couldn't remember it but knows it wasn't etsy... they did it all, frame, resized pic, and added writing to the back of the frame...anyone have any idea what website that could be?
If you are interested in doing this .. please message me and we will discuss pricing and more details!
If not, can someone please tell me where to go on the etsy site to make an alchemy request?
It will be GREATLY appreciated! (I get married in less than a month...ekkkk)
Thank you in advance,
Samantha
