Are the already annoucing the baby's name?
If everyone already knows then I would got with 2nd option. But if they don't want everyone to know the name, then maybe something along the lines of Thank you for helping us welcome our buddle of joy into this world, love the parents names.
@roxy821: Yup! He is going to be a junior, and they are proudly announcing it! They even wanted it on the invitations.
If they are proudly announcing it, I like the second option of "thank you for welcoming (baby name)." It just seems warm and personal!
Since it's a junior I think it should definitely be the baby's name. Cute idea!
