So exciting!  You’re doing great!

I have a dj, officiant (my uncle), photographer and some accessories.  The venue is penciled in for me but not booked yet as I’m not able to sign until 1 year out from our date. Its crazy to think how soon that’ll be here though!  Wow!

Yay for getting stuff done! It feels so good to check things off the to-do list 🙂

@FutureMrsKelly2014:  date twin!

We have our venue (both ceremony and reception) booked with deposits. Our familes have both visited the site (its outdoors) and they both loved it! Also the venue has a renovated house on the grounds that we booked, so our lodging is taken care of.

Decided colors/theme/decorations (more or less lol, the decorations details could change very slightly)

finalized bridal party – best friends and siblings only. FI has 4 sisters oofda!

I’m moving forward with having my dream dress made by Jasmines Bridal Shop 🙂

My grandma gave me a couple family wedding rings, one of which I’m planning on having resized for my wedding band. It’s my great grandmother’s. Also FI has been searching etsy for ideas on his wedding ring already!

I have two aunts that offered to take on major jobs for the wedding – wedding cake and stationary

Decided general menu – taco bar. I want to have this at least partly catered/serviced though, and idk what the policies on local caterers are. This is the next project on our list to get figured out. Originally I wanted to DIY, but my MOH and mom convinced me that it would be easier on everyone if we at least had someone to be in charge of the buffet/washing dishes.

Found a really great potential photographer with very reasonable prices. I’m in the process of communicating with her and hashing out the little details.

We are planning on DIY dj (we have friends with access to sound and lighting equipment, and FI is a wizard with computers/music and organizing), DIY flowers, DIY hair and makeup (thank god for lots of practice time and youtube), etc

We have a lot done/thought out, but we are currently studying at university, so thats why I am like powering through all these things in the few months we actually have time… next 9ish months will be dedicated to classes and graduating!

We’ve booked our venue which required half of the total.

Decided on our open bar package.

Booked our photographer which also required half of the total.

Hired our planner.

I just ordered my save the dates today.

I’m awaiting proposals from 4 caterers.

I’ve narrowed down my invitation ideas.

I’ve decided on the bridesmaid dress styles and bridal party.

I’m still going back and forth about our color scheme, but I know I’m having neutral bridesmaid dresses and linens so I figure the majority of the colors will come from the flowers which I can decide on later.

We’re about halfway finished with our website.

Made a spreadsheet of our guests.

Got the budget finalized.

Oh!  Probably my biggest accomplishment is that I’ve lost 14 lbs in 2 months.  I didn’t start out terribly overweight, just crossed into the territory due to a year of night shift, but I’d like to lose a total of 30lb before the wedding, which is looking quite doable.  I think my body is finally starting to go back to its norm now that I’ve been back on normal day shift for a few months.

After typing it all out, it looks like I’ve made more progress than I thought.  My next priorities are getting hotel blocks, attempting to calligraph our save the date addresses, finalizing our start time (going back and forth between 5 and 530), and to start looking at dresses.  I also think I should start on some small things like choosing songs and readings and gathering photos for our slideshow that we’re going to have during our first dance, FOB, and MOG dances.

It looks like we’re all making good progress and won’t be scrambling the last couple months!

I thought I was crazy for getting so much done so quickly!  I’m glad to see other people are just as Type A as me! lol

We have our venue, photographer (already got our engagement pics done), videographer, caterer (menu almost finalized), rental company (hoping to solidify exact rentals in the next few months), DOC, officiant (and ceremony outline), transportation reserved, hotel rooms blocked, make up artist (its a friend who does make up for a living), hair stylist decided but not booked (she did my hair for my brothers wedding), DJ.

We have almost all the big things booked.  I still need to book a musician for the ceremony and/or cocktail hour, I really want live ceremony music.

We are gifting each other our wedding bands this year for christmas so that will be taken care of in a few months.

I am doing a rustic/vintage theme so I have been collecting a lot of vintage things as well (lace doilies, glass bottles, vintage napkins) and am pretty far along in all that.

My grandmother is making my table numbers and we did a mock up this passed weekend.

I have my dress and we are still looking at suits for the guys.

We basically have all the details decided, we’re just steadily working through the execution!

Oh wow you’re all doing so much! You’ll have absolutely nothing to stress over by the time it comes 🙂 (I can dream anyway).
