Did you tell yourself you want to reach a certain level by a certain time?

    Or was it just natural?

Some of bees here, just exploded with the number of posts they have.  It's quite an accomplishment to get so many in such a short time.

How do you do it? Did you have to try really hard? Did you try to comment on almost every post?

I'm going with natural method.  But sometimes when a bee posts that she reached another level, I get the urge to increase my post numbers.  But then I think, am I posting just to post to increase my numbers?

Well, the other thing is I spend about 4 hours a day on here but if I had more time, I could increase my numbers really quickly.

I just let it naturally happen, I didn't want to get a set number.  My posting has been a lot lighter since I got married, but before there were days that I was at the top of the leader post!

haha well, i thought when i first joined that i would hardly post, now look at me. once i hit 100, it may as well have been 1000, since i didn't notice the number until recently. Yowza! Probably a direct result of job dissatisfaction. Better find a new one before i reach 5000!

I just started. I never had a goal. I spend all day on here though while i'm at work, and I spend some time at home on the weekends and evenings and such, so i post a lot! :)

When I started about a year ago I was a relatively slow poster.  For some reason I lit a fire under myself a couple of months ago.  I noticed that I was at 750 posts and I really wanted to hit 1,000 by New Years Eve.  I have no idea why.

I didn't ever really have a goal.  I just let it go naturally and I comment and post about topics that interest me or that I have something to say.  Generally, if I don't have anything to add, I won't post.

At first I didn't think I'd post a lot...but now I post ALL the time, especially one days like today (my day off).

I don't set goals for myself until I am 50 or so away for a new level, THEN I get excited!! :)

I tend to post pretty naturally...sometimes they are long answers, sometimes one word...no rhyme or reason to it.

I am excited to be able to be on here MORE soon! yayy stupid job is almost overr...

I just let it happen. I've had a relatively large amount of posts in a short time, but at the same time, everyone already knew me (CP) and I was used to being on here and knowing what to say.

But if I don't like something/don't know what to say, I don't ever push myself to post something "just because," nor do I push to a certain level.

I like to think that all the post equity i've built up is just me building friendships with you lovely ladies of the hive :)

my "goal" when i first joined was to be a bumble bee by my wedding date.. haha, now my goal is to be a bee keeper by then.

however, i usually only comment on a thread where i have an opinion or interest in that topic... i don't post just to "up" my numbers :)

I sometimes do set goals, like 25 posts per day.  I always get more "fired up" to post when I get near a new level change.  But really, I like posting on the boards because I love weddings, and I love helping people.  I especially like to find posts that haven't gotten a lot of comments (or any) and comment on them so I can keep them from dying!

Naturally I think, I may have had a goal to meet a new level when they changed up but I never in a BILLION YEARS expected to have as many posts as I do lol.. I really like helping people and I love getting input because there are such a great group of gals on here.  And I chatter a lot about nonsensical things sometimes lol the inner ramblings of a wedding obsessed bride I suppose.
