My husband and his BM wore tuxes sans the vest, but with ties and a pocketfold. I wasn't a big fan of bowties or vests for the boys. Honestly, you can hardly tell the difference between the tuxes and the suits the other GM wore that day.
I remember one Bee (can't remember who, though, and I'm in a hurry so I can't look it up) mentioned that she had looked into it, and no vest is OK for a tux if you instead have suspenders. The suspenders were cool for the pics, if I remember correctly. Honestly, I don't think anyone will notice/care. If you do go with vests, I always like the full-backed vests instead of those ones that just connect around the neck and waist. Guys always end up taking off their jackets, and the full vests just look better, I think.

Has anyone had ties made for their wedding party tuxes? I haven't really found anything that I like or that matches the bm dresses. I also think we're going to forgoe the vests, I don't know if they're really necessary, does anyone have any thoughts?
