I commute into work by train -- it's about 30 minutes each way. I use that as some me time: I put on my headphones and enjoy my current book. I also totally agree about working out. Even if FI goes with me, we're both in our own little worlds and it totally helps keep me sane.
FI starts classes this week for his masters (and I just finished mine in June) so I'm about to have a night or two a week of me time. Hooray for catching up on all the girly movies and tv seasons (grey's, gossip girl, greek, etc) on my netflix queue!
Oh i am so bad about this. Really bad. My idea of "me time" is taking a shower! ha! Me time does not exist for this girl anymore. I do enjoy going to the gym, though, so I try to sometimes go, but watch a TV show I really want to see. I just started my masters and fitting in a full time job, work, being in a few weddings, and watching classes and homework usually gets me in bed at about 1030 pm (to get up at 515) with having done nothing truly for myself. Oh well! I'm young =]

I'm curious; what do you other bees out there do to make time for yourself?
For me, the 'me' part of my day is in the morning after FI leaves for work. I take about a half an hour to drink coffee, read the paper and surf the internet before getting ready and going to work. I love the quiet time in the morning!
The other 'me' part of my day is when I work out by going for a bike ride, to the gym, or for a run. While exercising is still more of a chore for me, it is such a huge part of keeping me sane! Its great stress relief!
How about for you guys? What do you do to keep your wits about you?
