    I’d make my own, only because I know my hands best, and it would be difficult to explain to Fiance that “the fit’s not quite right, needs a smidge taken off here” or “that detail is hitting my knuckle and it hurts a bit”

    @Creiddylad:  I would make my own, but only because my FI’s huge hockey player hands could not comfortably make something to fit a size 4 finger. There’s actually a jewellery workshop near me that holds sessions for couples to make their own wedding bands. They design, cast, and take part in the whole process, which is really cool!

    @Creiddylad:  That sounds beautiful! As something similar, Fiance and I originally wanted to mine the gem for my ering ourselves, it would have been lovely to have something so sentimental!

    I think we’d do each others… Fiance isn’t very artistic but I’d trust him to do it, I think!
