Very pretty! Looks similar to a South Asian wedding. I'll also have a stage set-up for my wedding. Not sure what it will look like though.

Just thot of starting a thread for anyone from the South East Asian region who would be doing a traditional Malay wedding.
I'm Javanese by race, albeit a diluted one and grew up in Singapore. I'm really excited cos I'll be marrying the love of my life, and sharing our lives from then on. I'm getting solemnized on the 15 May 2010 with a mini reception right after, a dinner that night with my close friends and a day-time reception the weekend after with 1000 guests! And i get to toss the bouquet thn too! See! I'm real thrilled!
I've yet to choose my dais (platform), decoration, food, wedding favours and cake. WB has helped me a great deal as I found many BTBs sharing theirs. Apparently, the Western reception is so much different from what I'm accustomed too. Besides the number (yes,we lot wld invite the whole village if possible!), the type of food & decorations are different too. Yet, they are all beautiful to me. I'm thinking of infusing Western indeas with Malay traditions. We'll see how it goes..
Below are some pictures that are associated with Malay weddings.
xoxo,lala
