Our friends on our sister site Project Wedding are discussing this very topic and I was really curious as to what the Hive thought!
How would your feel if your FI/DH had some sexy photos taken of himself and presented them to you as a gift? Would you enjoy it, or....not so much? lol
Hahaha. I'm sure that there are plenty of men out there who could take sexy boudoir photos, but not my guy. He is amazing and I think he's hot, but he would look so silly trying to be sexy like this!
I am not so sure on this one!
Maybe because it is sooooo NOT my FIs style and I can't even imagine what they would look like LOL!
I think it might be interesting and I would enjoy it but I also think it might be a bit awkward.
I wanna be the only one who gets to see him nekkid. :p
For some reason I think I'd be weirded out. I've considered doing budoir shots to give to him, so I'm putting a double standard on it.

this is funny to think about! I love me fiance, but I dont think that would be an ideal gift, nor do I think he would ever do it. I dont think women are visually stimulated the way men are though. Thats why boudior is so popular for women and not men.
my first thought when i read the title was EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW lol. of course i love my FI and think he's sexy, but no.
I just asked Mr. Snow his opinion on this idea. His response: "Psssssh...really? Hahahha-- wait, is that a real question?" so I guess he's out on this idea 
Ummm, I say YAY!! My boo is HOT, HOT, HOT!!! During his twenties, he was a model and he still gets carded on the regular although he is 36. He looks awesome and I would love to get some sexy photos of him. Not completely nude, but boudoir photos are not nude, are they? So, just him in his Joe Boxers or the towel wrapped around his waist. YUM!!! I'd love for him to do it. And the model in him would for sure be down to do it. LOL!!!
So... we're talking about photos of him doing the dishes right? And vacuuming? Now that's sexy ;) hahaha!
Kidding aside... I'm pretty sure I would giggle... and then get super jealous when I realized someone else had to take those photos!
Standing in front of our photog during our engagement shoot was painful enough for him. I strongly doubt he'd ever do this.
LOL, sorry, I just got a mental picture of his "sexy" face and it soo would not work. Mind you he's got the perfect body for it...but no.
FI is doing them for me :D He did some sample shots for me and I really liked them! He's tall, rail thin, pale, blue eyes, dirty blonde curly/wavy hair, so the pics are sexy/angelic awesomeness :D
I had to literally drag him out of bed an hour before we left for our e-pics. I doubt he'd do anything like that. lol. Plus he'd look so SILLY! haha. I'm lmbo just thinking about it. lol.

Haha. I can't even imagine him doing that at all! But I don't think that I would appreciate it the way he would if I took them. So...nay.
Interesting topic for discussion- if he gave me pics like that, I would probably start laughing, then would feel really bad about laughing. Just not the way I get turned on...now photos of him cleaning the kitchen or washing the dishes, that might do it for me

It's interesting that so many of you are saying you'd be jealous of the photographer or not like the idea of someone else seeing your guy naked/scantily clad (okay, it's weird saying "scantily clad" in reference to guys, so yes, I think male boudoir photos would be odd) - this is exactly why my guy doesn't want me to do boudoir photos of myself. I know most b photogs are women, but still, I wonder how many guys have the same thought about someone else seeing you as you are saying about your guy.
Mr. Octo walks around our apartment in all his nekkid glory sometimes (admit, your FI probably does too...), so I don't think it would be something I'd be interested in. I love him with all his farting and scratching and goofiness...sexy pictures might be a little weird. Sooooo...nay.
My husband would love doing them and would be quite good at it... but I'm not visual like that so it wouldn't really do all that much for me. However, if he wanted to do them I would definitely humor him by pretending it was an amazing idea and that I loved them! :-)
Lol - did anyone else immediately think of the George Costanza photo where he's in his boxers on the leather couch?? That's all I can picture when I think "male boudoir photos" 
So I was watching Accidentally on Purpose and Davis (on of the characters) took sexy pictures and put tem on his FB, TOTALLY reminded me of this thread! I would just laugh I think ;)

@stiginko- lolol. That's actually my buddyicon on aim, and my fiance's parents got all worried because they thought that it was a picture of my fiance. (It's so small on aim). I almost died. lol

omg i can't stop laughing! i actually had to google this to see if men really do this because i just can't believe it! unfortunately it's true and there's a term for it: dude-oir photography.
i would be terrified if my mister presented me with these types of pictures. i find him extremely hot (gotta love boys who play hockey), but i think i would not be able to stop laughing thinking about how awkward he must have looked and felt taking them (or what exactly possessed him to make an appointment to do this!).

Ha! I had trouble convincing my fiance that engagement photos were a good idea, he hates having his picture taken. I think dude-oir photos (that's hilarious iggies!) might creep us both out. Then again, I might only say that because I can't imagine taking boudoir photos of me, either!

I think a lot of women have a hard time imagining it because our society bombards us with "sexy" images of women so we think it's normal for women to look sexy and visually arousing but not men. It's almost degrading for men to try to be sexy etc. because that's being like a woman or something.
However, well taken shots? Sexy ones that, much like ones of me, would emphasize his best features and hide the others? Ones that would not have him akward. But just nice long gorgeous glimpses of his yummy sexiness? Yup! yup! yup!
I'd encourage the girls to think of male models in A&F, isn't that just a bit sexy?
I'm one of the least visual people I know, I love, adore and have a life long affair with the written word but I still enjoy the hell out of well done sexy guy images. Noooo dishes necessary.
