Hi, mama bees! I’ve been feeling really down lately. This stubborn baby weight is taking longer to shed than I thought it would. I have two beautiful children. I had my first in February 2012, and my youngest was born in February 2013. My body has really been through a lot!! I’m 5’1,” and weigh between 152 on a good day and 155. I’m so unhappy with the way I look.
It’s not just my looks that bother me though. My BMI concerns me as well. I am between 29 and 30, which is borderline obese. So, it’s a big health concern that I drop my unwanted pounds. I would like to get down to around 110 before my 5 year anniversary with SO, which is in roughly 14 1/2 months. I believe I can do it, but I just need a kick in the pants to get started!
If any of you have weightloss success stories and/or before and after pictures to share, that would be great! I’d also love to hear what’s working for you ladies, like what programs you’re doing. I have P90X, Brazil Butt Lift, Zumba, and 3 Jillian Michaels DVDs. It’s so hard to find time between two little ones though. My options are to workout early, early in the morning (5am-ish) or late at night (midnight-ish), and during both of these hours, I can’t bring myself to do it.

however you think you look do not run yourself down. To me thats the beginning of the whole rollercoaster. If you constantly look yourself in the mirror and tell yourself that “this is never going to change” and “i’m nothing but fat” and “i cant lose this”. Your setting yourself up for failure before you ever REALLY try to lose the extra lbs.
Knowing that you have the tools to lose the baby weight shows that your in the right mindset.
What’s helped me: i dont have kids but im on birth control and its made me gain weight. i was 110-115 when i first met my boyfriend /now husband, now im 140 and gaining weekly from these stupid pills. Easy to gain them hard to lose them. For me the gym helped some but i had to circulate what i did or else my body would just get used to the routine and i wouldnt lose. Also try the mediterranean diet. Doing the dancing to those videos are great and will help you in the long run. but when you do workouts at home stay hydrated because for me sodas made me gain so much and water really makes you go to the bathroom alot to help lose. Try green tea too if you like flavor. green tea will clean out your system of the “bad” calories built up around you stomach and help you flush it all out try green tea and green tea weight loss pills found at walmart for not even 20.00 sometimes there on sale. for like 10.00. helped me alot now im a normal weight for my height 5’7 and 130. ive lost 10 lbs. in less that 5 months. ALSO MAJOR HELP FOR ME: no eating before bed! eating 3 ours before be(meal) and a bananna or yogurt for a snack straight before bed (5 minutes) so my stomach wouldnt growl and my husband laugh at me really made a big difference. GOOD LUCK!!!!
ps…….even though sometimes im not in the mood for touchy feely with my husband, having sex frequently helps your libido levels and hormone levels. making you feel more confidant in the way you look. helped me.
