Did you know he was going to pop the question or did you want to pop the question first when you saw the ring?
haha that is so cute, my fiance once sulked on why do girls get to wear rings and guys don't haha. I let him wear his wedding band for a full day the other day and he was like a giddy little boy, he loved it.. it made me smile :)
@Medina, I just had it hidden in my closet and I knew I would give it to him once he proposed. I def wanted it to be a surprise! :)

I knew my FI was going to propose. someone let it slip lol but maybe I should do it now and propose to him.
That is sweet. My FI wore a ring I gave him on his left hand up until 6 months ago. He wanted to take it off so it would be special when we got married with a whole new ring.

We actually had talked about this (that it's unfair that girls get an engagement ring) years ago and I had agreed that Fi could get an engagement car when I got an engagement ring - I think he was a bit shocked that I followed through on that :)

My friend's fiance is also wearing an engagement ring - he picked it out himself. It's getting him used to wearing a ring
I did one too. He loves it. He wears it on his left hand though.

My fiance is always complaining in how i get two rings(engagement and wedding band) and he only gets one... haha!!
Update: he saw this post about his ring (he thinks it's cute I'm on Weddingbee) He hugged me and he smiled so big I thought his face would split! He told me how much he loves wearing his ring! *dreamy sigh*
we ditched the whole idea of engagement rings and wedding bands. My FI popped the question and we went shopping together. I bought him his band and he wears it now (6 months before the wedding). He says he should be able to show his committment too. love him

As some of you already know, I got engaged this weekend (yay!) But it wasn't all about me (although I was the only one screaming...) After my Fiance (love to type the whole thing out) presented me with my beautiful ring, I took a moment to become lucid again and I ran off to our bedroom closet, which is where I had hid his "man-gagement" ring.
I know my man well, and he is a sweet, sensitive, and romantic type. That's how I knew I wanted to present him with something tangible on our special day. When I showed him his shiny titanium ring he looked a little confused but then graciously put it on and admired it. It took him a bit to get used to the idea of wearing a ring for our engagement, but now I catch him gazing at his ring almost as much as I gaze at mine! He is so happy to explain his new right hand ring to everyone (we didn't want to confuse people too badly) and I am so glad that I bought this token for him. In conclusion, if you think that a man-gagement ring would be right for your guy, go for it! I am so pleased that he has something to remind him of my love, just as I do! :)
