@futuremrsq2013:  I think it was really sweet. However, as much as I hated wedding planning, I would feel totally jipped.  Plus, I pinned tons of ideas that I ended up not liking after I started planning.

@MrsWBS:  +1!  Read this article yesterday on yahoo.com wow.  I’ve already been, um…..let’s just say thinking about how I want my SO and mine’s wedding to be-assuming that he doesn’t want to be that involved in the planning hahahaha!

Seriously though, as cute as this is I thought the same darn thing!  It’s supposed to be a special day, and you just show up?  With the planning comes the build up, excitement, IDK.  Plus I seriously doubt my SO knows how to access my pintrest or flipboard accounts where I’ve, hidden/stashed my ideal plans for our wedding hahahaha!!!

Planning a wedding has been the single most stressful thing I have ever done in my life. I would love nothing more than for someone else to just take care of all the cost and planning and just let me show up.

If that works for them that is so sweet, but the most wonderful part of planning for me has been being able to share it with my FI and my parents (especially my mother who is so sweet and so excited), I would feel really cheated. For example, buying my gown with my mother was so special.

Not for me. I’m not a surprise girl though.

It was sweet, but not for me. Neat story for their kids one day though.

I think it’s pretty awesome! I would gladly have let DH take my pinterest board & run with it- sooo much less stressful for me! =)

I watched the entire wedding video and it was definitely sweet, but they clearly have a different dynamic than the traditional couple. For example, it’s odd to me that he did not say “I love you” at all during their five years together. I get some things are sweet to save for a wedding day, but this girl literally waited five years to hear that he loved her! Insane.

My FH has tendencies to do things that I mention in passing to friends. It makes me giggle that she probably said that she wanted to get engaged/married on the same day, and he took that random remark and ran with it! I’m glad that it worked out for the two of them, but I’d be too overwhelmed.

@letigre:

I thought the exact same thing…5 years to tell her he loved her and she stuck around??!!
