Fiance has a faux mangagement ring. I purchased it for him because he liked it, and he put it on his left hand all on his own.
@Pokemon: will your Fiance wear the first ring on his right hand?

@MASPA: yeah he will switch it to his right hand and wear the wedding band on his left 🙂

Sorry, can’t contribute, just was surprised to see that men wear engagement rings! Is that the norm in Australia??

I wanted to give him an engagment watch. But I may just save it for the wedding day present

My husband’s engagement ring is also his wedding ring–it’s a Claddagh ring, almost exactly like the one that lovekiss just posted. 🙂 He wore it while we were engaged and still wears it now that we’re married.

My FH who is a guitarist has an engagement silver pick necklace. He is so proud of it and shows it to everyone.

Posted this recently, but any excuse will do, lol. The roman numerals on the outside is the date we met. I haven’t given it to him yet:

My Fiance has one! It is just a silver band. I never really asked what he would do once he has a wedding ring too lol

I also got my SO a claddagh! I was going to save it for our engagement, but I gave it to him on our 1 year anniversary instead. He hasn’t taken it off at all since, it’s really cute.

This is my fiance’s engagement band.
He plans on stacking it (it’s either a 4mm or 5mm band) with a 2mm titanium when we get married. When we talked about getting engaged, I asked him what he wanted as an engagement present. (It’s customary in my family to give an engagement present to the guy). He told me that he wanted a ring. Then he picked it out and had to wait for it, just like I had to wait for mine.
