Ha, you're not alone at all! I've been popping multi vitamins and getting weekly manicures to be sure those nails are in tip-top shape.
True confession: I carry a bottle of polish that's already on my nails in my purse... just in case. :-D
Hahah. My nails were in the worst shape when my guy proposed. He had tricked me and convienved me that he wouldn't be proposing that weekend, so I cut them all off and decided to shape and file them. Needless to say I wanted to die when I got my ring. I was out the next day getting my manicure done =)

Is anyone else going into overdrive on the manicure front?
I know I'm not getting my ring for Christmas (I've told him that I want Christmas to focus on the kids) but New Year's, our "1 year from today" date (January 22) and Valentine's are all very real possibilities so I've pre-set my manicure appointments for the next couple of months! I know that it's probably silly but I really want to know that when my guy finally decides that it's the right time to give me my ring my hands will look their best.
Please tell me I'm not alone in this!
