Why not go with a different coloured lace? Not a massively different colour (unless she wants it of course) but what about like a lovely creamy colour, an ivory or a diamond white. You could get some large lace with crystals/sequins on and that will make it stand out. If you’re DIY-minded you could make one, and then match the lace with her hair so it really pops. The crystal/sequin/bead ones may work better as it will catch the light and show up more. You could just even buy a plain mantilla and sew the crystals on yourself which will save you money but also get somethign she feels really comfortable with. I love my mantilla veil, but I do have dark (very!) hair. I have had trouble choosing a hair style. however, as all the hairstyles I like are on a blonde model all of whom have beautiful high and lowlights whihc I dont have in my hair!

I would buy a cheapie off ebay and see how she feels then either crystalise the cheap one or buy a more expensive one if needs be x

This is nice: if she wants a face covering one, and this shows up beautifully on this ladies hair: and it looks nice in black and white photographs as well.

Depending on how light her hair is, she may be able to get highlights/lowlights to add some definistion to the veil as well as maybe havign a curled style on the hair too?
