I don't think you Catholic or Spanish. It's just its origin. Yes! Your dress would look amazing with it. I think because it has lace the lace from the veil will compliment it. The veil will have a comb attached. It's suppose to be sort of flat on your head. There are different kinds of mantilla lace veils, look for one where the lace isn't too thick. Also, your hairstylist can help you play around with what looks best. Lastly, when you go buy it they'll probably have several to look at.
I think you could totally rock a mantilla veil and no, the veil has no ethnic or religious requirements!
Can you wear a Mantilla Veil just towards the back of the head? (like not over your ears)?
I've seen mantillas that just connect to the top of a bun, so it looks like an upside-down V down your back, but it doesn't cover the top of the head. Very pretty!
I bought a new mantilla veil from another bee. Here's the post with my dress and veil! Just to let you know the previous owner of this veil was selling it because her dress was all lace and she thought it was too much, but again thats probably personal preference!! I love the veil and its a great look no matter the dress!

Welll i just stumbled across Mrs Champagnes blog and i am now insanely in luuurrrve with mantilla veils. I was having issues with the "poofy" veil look and a mantilla is a perfect alternative!!
The thing is i have a few questions before i buy this:
Do you HAVE to be catholic/spanish for this type of veil?
What should your dress be like? Mine is an all over lace bead
And also, how do you WEAR this type of veil? it comes with a comb but im just a bit confused on how to make it look pretty
Would my dress go well with this lace mantilla? Its soo pretty
