Ok ladies...here's a tip for you if you plan to use branches with hanging candles
USE TEA LIGHTS not VOTIVES
They may call them "hanging votive holders" but don't listen! :-)
I used votives and my tree caught on fire!! The second they lit all the candles, the tree started to catch fire. The issue is the candles are too tall...so the flame can reach the wood. If you use a tea light candle..it will be lower and not catch your tree on fire.
They saved the tree, but we had to use LED candles and it didn't looked as I had hoped.
Learn from my mistake...tea lights ladies, tea lights!! :-)
