I am! After being so stressed these past couples months with all this last minute planning, I’m finally starting to get super excited!
I can’t wait to see all the planning come together the day of the wedding! Can’t wait for all of my out of town family to get here! Can’t wait to wear my dress! Can’t wait to say my personal vows in front of everyone! Can’t wait to party at our venue which I love and can’t wait for guests to see it and enjoy their food, ambiance, and service! Can’t wait to marry my fiancé!

@Diamond84: Hey date twin!
Yes, I’m excited! I’m like you, I can’t wait to see how everything comes together in the end. Everything is pretty much done. All my DIY projects are finished, all vendors are booked, everyone has their attire for the day. Oh, we do need to go get our marriage license at some point and track down RSVP stragglers, though!
But I’m definitely nervous, too.

@Diamond84: Yep! I have a lot going on from now until like the Tuesday before the wedding so I am thinking that is when it will hit me and be like an oh shit this is happening kind of moment. I am definitely excited now but I have not started stressing out or anything yet.

Yea, I think the nerves and stress will creep back in a week before. Every time I feel them creep up, I smack them away as my face started breaking out in a way it never has from the stress this past month. Finally starting to get better so I’m trying my hardest to not let anything get to me. As well as washing it morning and night, along with moisturizer.
All my DIY is done, too (woot!). All that’s left to do is book a limo (mom’s best friend’s son is working on this) and finish my dress alterations. Oh, and make my edible favors which are super easy to do; we won’t do them till a few days before the wedding, though. I’ve already constructed all of the boxes for them and have put our personalized sticker on them. They just need to get filled. Oh yea, marriage license, and that’s it.

Another date twin here! And I have to say I am 100% in the “I want to throw up” phase. I am finding myself stressed about everything when I really have breezed through planning with out any melt downs. I am worried about everything from my dress to the reception. Its just like this sudden smack in the face. Anyone else feeling like this???

@Lara_Ashley: That is how I felt last month, hence my face breakout. Constantly worrying every day about this or that. It was bad. While on the phone with my fiancé talking about wedding stuff, I broke down crying in a semi panic attack over a week ago. We hired a DOC a few days later.
Then I had my final meeting with my venue a couple days ago, we talked about everything happening day of wedding, from decor setup, the rehearsal, time for everything from speeches, to cake cutting, to first dance. It was all so detailed and made me feel tons better seeing the staff there clearly knows how to run a wedding successfully, along with having my DOC there to help make decisions, as quite frankly, I’m tired of making them.
What are you finding yourself most stressed about?

I’m weirdly calm. My mum decided at the last minute to fly over from NZ for my final dress fitting in a week and she keeps asking me what else I want us to do when she’s here and I literally can’t think of anything! Other than sit down and do some logistically planning I think.
Initially I was really bogged down in details, particularly about the reception decor, but now I’m just feeling kinda “meh” … we have an awesome florist who’s doing candles etc too, our stationery person is also awesome so I’m just happy to let them do their thing, not stress too much about the furniture that comes with the venue that doesn’t in the least match my vintage theme, and just zen 😛
(whether I’m still like this in a week remains to be seen :P)
EDIT – helps that we have an event manager who will be running things who “comes with the venue” so to speak… have been dealing with her since August so I know she’s got everything well in hand and I literally don’t have to do anything but show up! hah

@Diamond84: Oh my gosh I am so excited! I cannot beleive it’s here already. 5 days from now. I cannot wait to marry my fiance, see our families, wear my dress, and just have the day we’ve been thinking about, talking about, and planning for 15 months now!
I have to say though the next 2 and 1/2 days of work are going to drag by!
Luckily I’m not feeling any stress, only excitement 😀
Congragulations everyone! I can’t wait to hear about and see pictures from your beautiful weddings!

I will be honest…at this point, I am ready to get it over with. I am so sick of talking about wedding planning and have been so stressed for the last month, which has included major family drama from FI’s dad (he at one point said he’s no longer paying for the rehearsal dinner, then a few days later decided he would after all), having to fire our caterer and hire a new one 2 weeks ago, plus now it looks like its going to rain on Sunday so we are having to make contingency plans. I have been so incredibly stress free up until the beginning of February, its like the universe is conspiring against me to stress me out. FI is in the same boat…we are both so exhausted and just want to be married already. I don’t know how you bees with longer engagements deal with it…10 months was too long for us. lol

I’m excited, but also apparently anxious. I haven’t slept in days. I’m totally useless at work. Thankfully only 3!!!!! days to go!

This might sound weird, but I’m excited for it to be over and for my life to get back to normal! We have so many “wedding stuff” boxes in our home, most nights I’m awake and restless wondering if I spelled everyone’s name right on the escort cards, if people will have a good time, if I’ll get to enjoy the food, etc.!
Of course, I’m so excited and anxious for the big day to actually get here. I can’t wait to see my groom and for him to see me and be able to mingle and dance and celebrate with all our guests. I just hope everything goes smoothly!
My goal was to have nothing to do wedding-wise the whole week before my wedding, and it’s looking like I’ll be able to achieve that goal! Yay!
