WOW Thanks sooo much! March 6, Is my birthday also. Will be turning the big 26 and getting married on the same day! His birthday is the 8th of march. Does anyone know where to find cheap centerpiece vases or bowls? There arent too many places in Arkansas to find them!

Seriously, I would check Michaels, Walmart...and the dollar store. No lie, the dollar store has some great finds, especially in glassware.
Mrs. Cheese got a lot of great stuff at her local dollar store: http://www.weddingbee.com/2009/01/30/my-secret-source/

@afri0708: also, you can go to their website and order whatever you need if you don't see them in the store.  i LOVE the dollar tree!!!

What do you girls think about white chair covers and tablecloths with fuschia? or chocolate? table runners and chair bows? Its kind of confusing because the wedding and reception is in the same place

you can definitely use either, but i would bring in the chocolate via runners or chair sashes.  i like the look of a luxurious pink table cloth with a chocolate runner and pink flowers.

@crebre80 What do you think about this pic except with fushia instead of light pink but the tables are round

Yey Im a march 6 bride !!! and my birthday is the 3rd... So my best friend did her wedding chocolate brown, Fuschia and cranberry ... it was beautiful... the bridesmaids had same color dress (chocolate) but different styles. The lace around the waist was divided equally fuschia and cranberry. The centerpieces were simple but elegant .. She but the squared vases at a dollar store and she put hot pink roses ( 12 dozen per vase) she made them short. Candles around them made the place "romantic"... She had a candy bar and she bought all the candys coordinating Pinks, browns and red (cranberry is more deep) she added lighting and the changed from red to pink. It was simple but beautiful. Enjoy planning because we only have a few months to go !!!! YEYYYY

Yes i bought it two weeks ago!! Although i didnt take a pic in the dress this it it. I bought it in white but now i've found another dress that i love so i'm thinking of wearing my new love for my reception since it's not a "traditional" wedding dress... My colors are chocolate and fuschia. What are yours?

Love both dresses... the first one is extremely beautiful. thats right your colors are chocolate and fuschia. My colors are Royal blue, african purple and some orange... since my theme is Latin Jazz... my fiance thought that we should combine the colors as well... which are great together, My main is royal blue but the purple and orange are the detail colors. I got together with my decorator and he showed me the sample of my decorations and they go great... so excited. Also, we havw a jazz band that will make the setting more like it !!!  so far i have most of my stuff ready..i am stress free... just nervous !! :-) how about you .. got your things set yet ?

Hi guys. We are still a little up in the air but it looks like March 6 will be our date.

I'm very nervous as it's coming up soon and we have a lot of road to travel planning-wise.

    So far:

Dress- check, about to do alterations

Premarital classes- check, about to finish final session

Church- very close, tentatively marked down, checking pastor/minister of music schedule

Venue- tentatively marked down, discussing items, putting deposit down this weekend

Invites- started working on them. Thinking we are crazy to do them ourselves.

We're not too nuts are we?? Starting 2 months out- yikes!

I'm not a March 6th bride but I am a March 13th bride!! I don't have any ideas for you as of yet, but have you visited your florist? Maybe she can help you start the planning process for the colors. There's a lot you can do with it!
