Makes me look so lazy.  I have finished a bunch, but still a ton to do.  Table numbers, menus, boutenierres (sp?), bathroom baskets, stickers for the favors, photo share cards, card box and many other things still to be figured out.  I feel like I am on track, but I better not lose my focus in the next 3.5 months!

    Congrats on being so productive!!

Wow ladies, you are doing good at getting things done :-)

I am stressing right now because I am making my girls dresses. I chose to do organza over silk, and I should have just stuck with tulle over silk. Tulle is much easier to work with.

    I love seeing everyone's progress.

I'm also going to look and see what I can find to inspire me for an untraditional guest book when we go to the flea market for the vases and our cake stands.  And I'm not sure yet if we're going to do escort cards or not.  We only have six tables so I'm wondering if I should just make signs that say "Reserved for Bride's immediate family" and "Reserved for Groom's immediate family" for those two tables closest to us.

@mandb122: The list just seems to keep growing; doesn't it :-)

I am also unsure about escort cards and reserved seating. We are having a small wedding; 50 or less. I think I might just do assigned table; that is kind of like reserved seating. I will put the older people together and the younger people with kids will be together. I am not sure how many table yet though.

Oh, and we have to rent the chairs for the ceremony! I have it all written down, I just can't think of it all off the top of my head.  I just know we have six tables because it's a small room for just a sit down dinner reception.  We'll probably have around thirty people and we want to sit alone so I figure if we just reserve the tables for our immediate families it should be fine.  I'm sure I'll go back and forth between now and March 6th though.

I love that movie too. It is one of my many favorites. I have to watch it every time it is on TV. My FI always says "You know, we have that movie on DVD". I just tell him that I know, but I still want to watch the TV version.

I am going to spend the night before the wedding there with my girls and we are going to watch that movie together and have a fun time. My FI and I will be staying for the wedding night, so he will have the experience too. I can hardly wait.

@noritake22 :  I think I have most of it figured out and fixed I just haven't signed new contracts yet.  Hopefully I can get that done next week.  I really would be so happy if all of my venders are set in place for the end of Nov.  Then the rest of my time can be on all of my projects instead of meeting with people.

I ordered my invitations today! It feel so nice to be able to cross something else off the list!  Oh, and I forgot that my fiance is getting two new suits for Christmas from his parents (Ralph Lauren, marked down from $500 to $83) so he's going to pick one for the wedding.

    Yay!!!

It looks like everyone is moving along.

Since I posted this, I have one of the girls gowns finished and am now working on the second one.

I don't know about everyone else, but I am getting so stressed out; I am sure it is selfinduced. I just want to get everything done, so I can try to relax.

I think a large part of what's causing an increase in my stress lately is the holidays.  I know I have to get Christmas shopping and the wedding done and then when the holidays are over, I have two months to complete a lot of things.

@Nola: I was lucky enough to get our invitations done, I think, last month. I just have to number the RSVPs, tie the ribbon around them, and address the envelopes. I also have my aisle decor done. It shouldn't take you to long to do that once you get started. I am sure the live video will be appreciated. We thought about doing that, but for us, I don't think it would be worth it.

@mandb122: The holidays are definately getting in the way of things. With people arriving and staying, I can't really get much done.

@noritake22 : We are doing the video for his grandma to be honest.  She is very upset that she can't come (he is her fav grandchild) and he had to figure out a way to keep her happy.  We figured if we are doing it for her then we might as well tell others about it.  However, I doubt anyone will look at it other then her.

I totally forgot about how the holidays will pretty much eat up all the available weekends in december... not only that, I just started a new job and will probably be working weekends for a while. :( I don't know how we're going to finish everything in time. I hear that once 3 months rolls around... everything flies by quick! eeks!

@Nola: My grandmother is 97 and is more than likely not going to be able to make it either, so I can sympathize. I would consider the video more for her, but she is blind from old age now, so she wouldn't be able to enjoy it. I plan to send her a care package with some of the favors though, so hopefully, she will like those.

@Miss Zig Zag: The holidays are definately putting a damper on getting things done, but I think if we persevere, we will manage; maybe a little more stress than we want, but we will get it done. Congratulations on your new job!!! I know that will eat into your wedding prep time too. I am lucky because I work from home and am my own boss. Three months just doesn't seem like enough time though...

@Naiexoxo: You will get there. It looks like you have most of the big things done, so that is a good thing. We have deposits on everything except for the bar help. That will probably come after the first of the year. I am hoping to have the rest of the vendors paid off by the end of January or midFebruary. I think I will number the RSVPs and address invitations this weekend. I want to send them out the first weekday of January. And we have our RSVP deadline set for February 14th, so I can finish up with the caterer and the DJ. I put a music request card in with the RSVPs, so we would have help with our playlist.
