RSVP’s, waiting on all Barr 10… I think lots of people assume we know they’re going!

Table settings – that will be a pain

Speech

Some accom and flights for honeymoon

Finalise song list for the church and band and Dj list of suggestions

But delighted- sorted wedding rings, hair and make up trials and favours in the past couple of days!

Also, working on packing for honeymoon. That will be done at least a week before the wedding so I won’t have to think about it!

@phoebephoebo:  OH no totally forgot about Favors too, I think we know we want to do…calligraphy pen sets, ink and pen and tips…but need to finalize buy and put together

@MrsRichard:  ah, the Honeymoon. We have our place, but have not reserved or purchased tickets or anything. St. Thomas with a stay at the Bella Vista B&B. the thing is we have three children and need to coordinate the babysitting and also wait for our tax return 😉

I am feeling a bit stressed over all of this right at this moment. I am in a weird stand still, there is nothing I can absolutely do right now…the place we are getting married is a 3 hour drive from our house, so we need to coordinate going back up there in the next  few weeks for the florist,makeup/cake finalization…oh yeah did I mention that too, the CAKE. F$*K

The dress will be this week, plus my two little girls dresses, my wedding band comes in a week, and then the escort cards, I can kind of put together but kind of waiting on RSVPS.

@MrsRichard:  exactly! I have the idea all ready, my fingers are itching to go, but I need to wait on who’s attending. I have TWO back. That’s it. the deadline is FEB 1st.

yay for jamaica, fun!!!

Yes I need to focus on the dress alterations, as of this week, and then take a big breath and the rest will come!

My MIL keeps saying “isn’t this fun? wedding are such a pain in the ass, just elope”!

@MrsRichard:  Well in the defense of the people we sent them out last week, but check off a meal and send it already jeeze!  My mom and sisters are all coming, and I supplied the stamp, what’s the problem? I even explained to them what the menu choices consisted of. It’s annoying.

What’s your plan for the escort card display thing? I need to go see the actual space where we will put the table before I really figure out what I am doing there. I’m really crafty so I can whip something up but it’s the anticipation of wanting to know what I’m working with so that I can make my vision a reality. Our wedding is at an INN and they have some things I can play with too but I need to see them in person so I can work around that.

and yeah…in another 2 months it will be all over!!

@MrsRichard:  also the fitting, I am down 12 lbs but I dont want to gain it back in a month either. I can’t try the dress on at home becuase we live together, and I need some serious help in the boob department  it has a built in bra, but it’s kind of large and I need some lift help..and the corset isn’t as tight as I would like…and am afraid because the dress is so delicate…

I’m having paranoia like what if my scale is off?

Jealous of your honeymoon options! We have to travel quite far to get sun. Really need sun, since we only have 7 hours sunlight at the moment! Heading to Dubai and Vietnam. Can’t wait but still have lots of stuff to sort for Vietnam.

@Khalessi3:  Ha, knowexactly how you feel! Ready got a ‘no’ from a ‘definite’ so can’t tick anyone off the list until they actually respond! I spent hours and hours on the invite so thought Id have heard from my friends but alas no! I suppose everyone has their own stuff going on! Hopefully we’ll get there sooner rather than later!

@Khalessi3:  We said we’re not doing cake. Not a tradition I’m a fan of. Well we’ve had 3 offers from friends and family to make one! Maybe try that and people will fall over themselves to offer to make you one!!!!

@phoebephoebo:  Yeah the cake I orginally talked to some random lady about (it was another INN that is known for its’ food in the area…now I”m having 2nd thoughts becuase she’s not an acutal wedding cake co. We have to transport it ourselves and…I dont’ want to do that.

so now it’s basically starting over, I have two options but need to speak to those two options in person..and like I said 3 hour drive.

I do not want any cake feeding going on. I am still not sure how we will work it, I imagine just having the waiters, cut it it for us and serve it to guests avoiding all the hoopla over it.

O

@MrsRichard:  oh I like that. See I think I’m itching to do something with them…and that’s the issue. I should keep it simple too, no stress. Are you writing the names on them yourself? or typing them?

I thought I could pull off this really pretty flowery cursive script that I did for the invite envelopes, and when I sent them out I was happy I only had to send out 15 out total, it was kind of not as cute as I envisioned.

I also am worried becuase two people I invited thinking they would not come, on the advice of my dad and if they come my whole count is messed up dinner and seating wise, then my little sister calls and asks to bring a date, didn’t expect her to at all, that’s all messed up…and two couples coming HATE each other.

And we have kids, so we can’t sit with anyone but our kids, and we can’t have our kids sit with our friends.. although I would love to split up all the kids with the grandparents ahah!
