Ladies can you believe it is March 1st! Good luck to all of the lovely ladies that are getting married this weekend! I am so excited for all of you and can't wait to see all of your recaps. Would love to see some of the pics posted in a March 2011 area not just in recaps.

So this is my last 26 day to do list

- Finish parents gifts

- Finish ring bearer gifts

- PROGRAMS!! Buy (fan)handles on Trip to GR on the 9th

-Table numbers

- Escort cards

- Must have photo list

- Pay last few vendors

- Bridal party glasses

- Make guest book

- Make here comes the bride sign

-If I have time I have a few extra DIY projects

--- Print out door hangers and list of things to do in New Orleans

- Buy taper candle holder

- Weekend/day of timeline

- If we are going to rent tent must figure it out ASAP

- Create check list of everything I need to take with me to New Orleans (start packing next week)

I can't beleive we are on the home stretch girls. I don't know about you, but I am still adding to my list of to dos

February Done

Make signs and labels and decorations for the candy/cookie bar (scheduled for the second week of January) - partially done - Pushed to second week of February
Hire bar service for cocktail hour/reception (scheduled for the second or third week of January) Appointment scheduled for February 4th
Get banquet permit for serving our own alcohol (scheduled for mid-March)
Get event permit for insurance purposes
Get marriage license (scheduled for early to mid-March) (now scheduled for February 11th)
Schedule second fitting with seamstress (scheduled for February 4th)
Finish sewing party dress
Make jacket for party dress
Make cookies; chocolate chocolate chip and peanut butter, for the candy/cookie bar
Schedule hair and makeup trial (February 16th)
Schedule final venue walk through (Scheduled for March 9th)
Bag and tie cookies
Make bags and tags for candy/cookie bar
Decorate scoop and tongs for candy bar (need to schedule a trip to Michaels and/or Joanns for bling; ended up going to Shipwrecked Beads)
Make hangers for girls
Make hanger for myself
Finish getting grooms gifts and something to put them in

Last Minute March Stuff

Schedule final fitting (scheduled for March 22nd)
Purchase pens for marriage license signing and guest book signing
Purchase alcohol and other drinks for reception
Schedule meeting with planner for last minute reminders
Get music to DJ
Get final numbers to caterer
Order flowers for the bouquets (scheduled for the first week of January) Pushed to first week of March

Finish paying vendors (scheduled for completion by mid-March)

@noritake22: I still seem to keep adding to the to do Your list looks pretty good girl! I love that you how detailed your list is and that you add when you have things scheduled for.

I really just have a few more things to put together, a couple more small things to figure out, and packing to do. Tonight is my last night at work then tomorrow and Thursday I have errands and Friday is the day we leave for Charleston!

@mandb122: Oh my goodness.... can you believe that we're both getting married THIS weekend!! Congrats, and I cannot wait to see recaps :)

I'm DONE!!! I finished my very last DIY project last night. So, I am totally done for the wedding, totally done packing to move and for our honeymoon, and finishing up last minute projects at work today/tomorrow. All I have to "do" is hand out checks to my vendors (aka my sister is handing them out!), set things up, and get married! :)

Ladies, I cannot wait to see your recaps and see all the beautiful details you are working so hard to finish up!!

You guys are doing awesome! I am so excited for everyone who has a wedding this weekend and all these next few weekends!! Ahhh. I am down to 23 days. Still haven't gotten very many RSVP's although I put the deadline as the 4th. They have until Friday, dang it!! I am terrified that no one will come, and I am terrified that the day of will be super chaotic and overwhelming. Ugh. I love that I saved tons of money DIYing everything, but now I am so scared that everything is just going to fall apart. This is supposed to be a HAPPY day, right??

I can't believe it's March 2nd! My parents and my FI's parents get in tomorrow. I'm finishing up the packing and getting ready for this weekend. I'm praying for beautiful weather!

I know I don't post often, but I'm getting married in 3 days too! I can't believe it! Just packed up the car and we will drive to Tahoe in the morning. It looks like the weather is going to be in our favor and that it's going to be OK to drive without chains. I don't know about you March brides, but there are a few things I let go in the last few weeks. Since our ceremony and reception are happening in the same place, it's a buffet and just a wedding with 60 guests, we decided to skip programs. I know it sounds like a big deal, but it's going to be OK. Also after much family debate on who is coming and who is not, we gave up on a seating arrangement. We are just going to put "reserved" signs on the table settings for the parents and the bridal party. And.....even though we bought beautiful wall decor peacock feathers, we probably won't use them. It just isn't going to look right.

Anyways........I am headed to bed early tonight and will be up tomorrow to start the most exciting weekend of my life. Good luck with everything March brides. LET'S ENJOY THE RIDE!!!

The main thing I still have to do is prep for my cookie bar...I've started but still have a lot of work to do there. I also have to make escort cards...I guess I should get on that!

Meetings:

Final fitting this Saturday - decide if we need to take in the dress any more? (This was supposed to be last Sunday but the seamstress had strep throat)
Deliver cake stands (DIY'd!) to baker- Sunday?

Crafts:

Finish favors!!! (choose songs for Mix CD, finish designing booklet, print, buy cases, assemble)
Make signage for bathroom baskets, flip flop basket, guest book table, cake flavors, ceremony seating, small cards for photo sharing info?
Seating Chart window
Make sugar cookie dough & freeze/refrigerate for cookie making a few days before wedding

Decisions to make/logistics to figure out:

Who will transport us from venue to our home/hotel? Hire transportation??
Give card to Best Man on Friday for delivery to groom Saturday morning
Finalize Sunday meet up/present opening plans w/ bridal party & parents
Vases or something for bouquets after ceremony?

Other:

EXERCISE
Buy sodas (& Snapple?) for our caterer to have for distribution (it's cheaper to get it at Costco and have them give it out then to buy it through them)
Finalize jewelry choices. *Get new chain for my necklace pendant- current one is too short
Programs- finalize proof with printer. Buy ribbon for edging. Assemble.
Seating chart
Buy extras for guestbook tree- frame, paper for test prints, trash can, pens, mug for pens, baby wipes
Cards for photo sharing instructions??
Find basket/box for programs
Find basekt/box for cards
check that hanger dress comes home on is "nice enough" for pictures (if not buy or DIY one)
Inventory decor already bought to figure out what items will go on what tables, what candles/supplies we need to buy

Slooowly but surely things are getting crossed off. Man I'm glad we have this one last weekend to get stuff done, though. Last weekend was a bit of a wash as both my fiance and I both got sick.

With 14 days until my wedding, my current to-do list is:

Create and print a program (half done with the template)
Print the menu cards (already typed them out)
Finish burning 25 more CDs for my wedding favors
Finish tying the favors with baker's twine
Print and stamp the labels for my CD's
Finish centerpiece knick knacks
Figure out a table number design
Seating chart
Escort cards
Find tabletop easels for large family photos
Frame family photos for family photo table at reception (Did groom's side - need to finish my side!)
Type up and frame a bar menu
Order FI's wedding gift (its perishable so must be ordered the week of the wedding)
Buy argyle socks for FI
Type up welcome letter and weekend schedule of events for OOT bags
Type up a final wedding timeline for all vendors, friends, wedding party, etc.
Buy a dress for bridal shower/rehearsal/welcome reception (all in one day!)
Mail my makeup artist my extensions for her to prep ahead of time
Buy some CZ studs to wear on wedding day and ask mom for her sapphire pendant
Buy the bubbly for the reception
Prepare the announcements to be mailed out on wedding day
RETURN all the clothes and random stuff I ended up not using/wearing
Make sure FI has prepared all the final payments and tips
Meticulously pack everything in the car
Pack for honeymoon
Final dress fitting
Final walkthrough at reception site
Pick up dress
Check into hotel 3 days before the wedding
Go to SF Flower Mart for bulk flowers and deliver centerpiece flowers to coordinator
Get final pedicure/manicure
Pick up canvas pic from Costco
Do a major Costco/Trader Joe's shop once at the wedding venue for all hospitality suite food and drinks
Deliver OOT bags to the hotel for distribution
Deliver wine and champagne to the reception site 24 hours in advance to chill
Make sure hotel makes room keys for the hospitality suite so guests have access 24/7

WHEW! I will be so glad when this is all over!

Looks good ladies! Congrats to those that have passed this checklist thing. I am trying to keep up and check back once a week. I can't believe how fast this month has flown by! We leave for the wedding in one week.

So this is my last 26 13 day to do list

- Finish ring bearer gifts (bought two parts to this. Need to make a quick trip to Dollar tree for some coloring books and crayons)

- PROGRAMS!! Buy (fan)handles on Trip to GR on the 9th

- Bridal party glasses (ladies glasses are done and the guys are half done)

- Make guest book

- Make here comes the bride sign

When I type this all out I feel like I still have so much to do. Before I thought I had a good handle on it. Today I did a little shopping and got a honeymoon dress and my bachelorette party dress. I also went to VS and got my something sexy for the honeymoon. We are talking to the ceremony musician tonight also. I did a few other things today and overall I feel like it has been a pretty productive day!
