Did they post the pics to her page? Or did she seek them out? I don’t know who this woman is, but I’m curious.

Interesting, Facebook was just recommending that I like her page a day or two ago. Personally I wasn’t a huge fan of her ‘what’s your excuse’ photo.

if she went to someone else’s page to insult them, I can see that she should be banned. But if someone came on my page to start shit, I’d probably not be very nice either. if it’s the second case, as long as FB bans everyone who insults others as they did her, then that would be fair to me.

@Jacqui90:  I read an article about this and they actually determined she was accidentally blocked after a flag or whatever on her and they gave her back her fb the next day.

She replied on her Facebook page about 23 hours ago, so not sure if she was banned…

ETA: I read the post that was banned. It’s on her website page. It was an original post, not directly attacking another post in a comments sections. Maybe I am not super sensitive, but it wasnt anywhere near hate speech. It did talk about obesity, but she was citing facts, plain and simple. Facebook even admitted to making a mistake…

@Jacqui90:  Yeah I think someone posted a link to the article on here earlier today

The news says it was because of hate speech. But body size  isn’t covered under the hate speech provision of the Facebook rules. And I see a lot of hate speech on Facebook. Seems like they arenot applying the rules evenly.

@RenoSweeney24:  ah ok, that makes more sense, or else FB would have to ban a lot of people.
