there is mariachi square in East LA where tons of mariachi bands hang out and wait to get hired/picked up. Maybe you can get someone to go out there and get some cards. You will get a waaaay better deal there than booking a high profile "famous" band.
@latincaligirl: there's a mariachi band that we use for parties, we have booked them at least a dozen or so times. they work out of this restaurant in the valley called "casa torres". if you want their number, etc, feel free to PM me.
@MissKat03: I've heard of that place. I work in the valley and we were going to go there for a co-workers going away gathering. :)

I just got back from my friend's mom's birthday party and they had a Mariachi there that sounded and looked great! I need to get their infor from her and as soon as I do I will post it. She said she got them from the Port's O'Call restaurant in Long Beach (said they play there regularly). I'm considering hiring them for our wedding next year!
Ill pm you a number of my mariachi i used for my wedding. I like the combo of both guys and girls in the group and thats what i had.

Hi everyone,
Can anyone recommend their mariachi. I live in Seattle and flew to L.A. to find a band. The one I found canceled on me for Mariachi USA and now I need to find one for my June wedding.
Any recommendation will be a big help.
