Of course! I secretly want to lie to all the vendors and say I'm having a big birthday party. That way, I can get things at close to normal price.
I'm pretty sure everyone on this board knows exactly what you're talking about! It sucks!
Yup!! Totally had this happen to me with every vendor. They aren't going for repeat-business so don't mind blatently screwing you with the price.
I heard of people order flowers, etc, and claiming it was for a big family reunion (not such a big lie, a wedding is a family reunion of sorts, no?).
