Weddingbee boards

Hi Bees!

After months of deliberation on what sort of wedding we would like, my Fiance and I have finally deicded we want to have an outdoor marquee reception. We come from a beautiful little village in the country and have been offered the use of a field from a friend so we will have lots of space for everyone. 

The reason we want to have an outdoors wedding is because we want it to be a really fun day for everyone including children. We are going to have a bouncy castle and some other outdoor games. 

My question though is, has anyone ever had this sort of wedding reception and does anyone have any ideas on how to keep it fun and eventful, whilst keeping it classy and not turning it into the village fair! Whilst I want the hair to be let down at times - I still want to do the normal formalities and haven't quite figured out how to get the right mix.
