That's fantastic! I was just talking to the manager at my jeweler about how you don't really see marquis cut anymore, and that it used to be so popular! My mom has a marquis cut solitaire, and now-a-days, it's so unique! Yours is gorgeous!

My Hubby and I celebrated our 20 year anniversary. We were high school sweethearts and we've been together at 17 & 20, on a simple budget. I love my original wedding ring and I'm definitely keeping it, but after 2 kids and 2 decades we decided I needed a upgrade.
I always loved the marquise and white gold! I think it gives a modern spin to a traditional cut. We found the ring and after several attempts finally found the stone. I wanted a separate band (had a wrap before), because I like the option of wearing it casually on certain occasions.
The most challenging part was getting the band because of the high cathedral and thickness of the band. We finally had to go straight to the designer, because Shane Company didn't carry the band.
