depends on which county you are in. Check out the Clerkof court office of that county and I am sure you could find info regarding.

Georgia is SUPER easy!! We got ours 2 weeks ago and our wedding isn’t until June 11th. We had to get ours early because my fiance received military orders to move to Oklahoma and he wouldn’t be back until 1 day before the wedding. In Georgia, there is no expiration date so you can get it whenever you want.

If at least one of you are a resident of Georgia, you can get your license in whatever county you want to. If you are both out of state, you have to get it in the county that you will be married in.

There is NO blood test or waiting time and you only need ONE form of ID to apply for your license. The process took us 15 minutes, including paperwork, paying, and then waiting for the printed out license. Cash ONLY-we realized this too late and had to run around the building looking for the ATM before the meter ran out lol.

Basically, it’s super easy and if you do premarital counseling and bring in your completion certificate, you only have to pay $16 rather than $51.

We just took a premarital workshop so it looks like we can go ahead and get our license even though we aren’t getting married until October. Very easy…
