    my father in law was best man and my best friend was moh and they signed it.

    We used our MOH and BM. “In the old days” each side had a witness to attest to the truth of the wedding/ceremony and that the marriage actually existed, so there was one from each side to help ‘prove’ that it did happen if need be. If we’d used parents, I’d want both moms or something, not just his family + me on the cert *but I’m picky ;0)*
