Every single thing about our wedding was perfect! I’m really having the post wedding blues because the day and night were magical. I had planned a wedding in October, in Wisconsin, because it’s the most beautiful time of year here (to me), but it’s risky because you can either have a gloomy, windy rainy day in the 50s or you can have a gorgeous sunshining day in the 70s. Guess what I got? Yep! It was actually TOO warm and around 80 degrees! And so perfect. My hair looked great, my makeup looked great, my girls looked amazing. Our ceremony was short and sweet and was very “us” as people said. It was in the cutest adorable old church in the middle of the woods, where Darling Husband was babtized and where his whole family has always gone. It was packed. We had a limo bus that we partied on and went to a couple local bars. Our hibachi dinner was a HUGE hit with everyone and when I walked down into the reception hall to see how it was decorated, my jaw dropped open. It was magical! Everything I had hoped for and didn’t even imagine would happen. I don’t have many pictures yet so I’ll post what I got. I’m picking up pro pics this afternoon.
Oh, we had a prop box out for people to take pictures with and while the Wedding Party was lined up to do the grand march, someone started digging in it and put a prop on and then another and another and I said “hey that’s for photo booth pictures” but they didn’t listen. So I laughed and said, “ok go with it” so each and every person in my Wedding Party had some sort of prop on when they were introduced onto the dance floor. It was hilarious. And then they kept wearing them all night! LOL Lots of funny pictures.
We were told by so many people that it was the best wedding and most fun they’ve ever had at a wedding! We are elated!!

@Sasha2011: Oh! And the shoes! Love it! I am planning on doing something similar. I might have that same colour or green. But I have neither coloured shoes……… yet. I do have pink but nothing for Fiance to match and he would hate wearing anything pink!

You’re going to have to tell me where you got your cupcake stand…….or at least how you built it if it was DIY
Post # 14
LOL I hardly did anything DIY the cupcake stand belongs to the baker and I had to return it clean and unbroken, he had a $200 deposit check of mine he would’ve cashed had I not!
The only thing that slightly sucked about the ceremony was the music. The organist was terrible. We told her we wanted “Joy to the World” by Three Dog Night played after we were announced and I told her just the chorus…well when we were announce, she slowly played “Jeremiah was a bullfrog” sigh… and Darling Husband and I planned to jam down the aisle, that’s why his arm is up like that. 🙂 Here are some pictures of the Hibachi dinner

Did you have your reception at a hibachi grill? Or did they bring the grill to your reception location?
